Women Shaping a Wild Future

When we interviewed the brilliant female leaders at Wildlands Network for International Women’s Day, one message rang clear: hope for a wild future lies in diverse voices and communities. Change is difficult, but in witnessing countless examples of new perspectives and conversations driving real change, we are inspired by the power of connection.

Women across the continent are changing the way we support wildlife and connectivity by defending our environment through policy, research, advocacy, and even putting their lives at risk. Investing in the equality of our own species is as important as ever. This International Women’s Day, we’re celebrating the women of Wildlands (who make up more than half of our team!) by highlighting their perspectives.

Hear their insights on their biggest concerns for the wild, what gives them hope for a wild future, and advice to all women in conservation above.
