North America’s wildlife is on the move. As the climate changes, species from bighorn sheep to mountain lions must traverse vast distances to survive, yet they are increasingly hemmed in by a grid of asphalt and steel. Wildlife crossings and wildlife-informed community planning represent a critical frontier in nature-based solutions — restoring the biological “highways” that allow ecosystems to remain resilient and biodiverse.
Come test what you know (and learn what you don’t) about how infrastructure policy, wildlife biology, and climate adaptation are linked through a vision of continental rewilding through a free trivia night hosted by Wildlands Network, the nonprofit connecting wildlands across North America so nature can thrive on its own terms.
