Legacy Gifting Options

Bequests

Bequests are gifts made through your will or living trust of a specific item or asset. This is an easy way to invest in Wildlands Network’s future — and they can be changed or modified at any time. Whether you leave a set dollar amount, a percentage of your estate, or a particular asset, a bequest costs nothing during your lifetime and can be one of the most meaningful gifts you’ll ever make.

Life Insurance Designations

Making a beneficiary designation through your life insurance plan is an easy way to support wildlife connectivity. By naming Wildlands Network as your beneficiary of an individual or group term life insurance policy, the benefits from your policy pass to us free of federal estate tax after your lifetime.

 

Retirement Plan Gifts

Use your tax deferred retirement plan assets (IRA, 401k or other qualified plans) to protect wildlife by leaving Wildlands Network as your beneficiary. It’s a simple and tax-efficient way to leave a legacy for the wild. By designating Wildlands Network, the residual of your plan passes on to us tax-free, avoiding both the estate tax and income tax.
