Wildlife Corridors Conservation Act

In the United States, we are advancing federal legislation that will create a consistent science-based approach to identifying, restoring and maintaining wildlife corridors across the country. This groundbreaking national approach of supporting community and state-led efforts would promote the restoration and resiliency of wildlife habitat.

The National Wildlife Corridors Conservation Act would provide the most important step of any single piece of legislation in enlarging the nation’s protected areas and thereby saving large swaths of America’s wildlife and other fauna and flora.

Ending Mining in Protected Areas

We are co-leading a coalition to reform Mexico's national policy that permits mining in National Protected Areas. These protected areas are critical to the health and wellbeing of local communities of wildlife and people. Destructive mining practices have no place in these landscapes.

State Legislation

We support the passage and implementation of state-level legislative initiatives in both the United States and Mexico. These initiatives require proactive identification of wildlife corridors and associated projects to restore and reconnect wildlife habitat. We tailor our legislative solutions to each state's unique needs and structures, ensuring meaningful results on the ground.
