As Wildlands Network makes strides toward our holistic vision of connectivity for North America, we recognize that conservation progress can look very different between Mexico, the United States, and Canada. Effective Conservation is based on Ignacio Jiménez’s extensive experience managing conservation projects on three continents over thirty years. This includes coordinating the largest wildlife reintroduction program in the Americas, in Argentina, which has returned extirpated jaguars, green-winged macaws, and giant anteaters among other species to their native habitat.
