Danielle is responsible for developing and implementing the strategic direction for Wildlands Network’s communications program. She works in close collaboration with program directors, philanthropy team and leadership to identify and elevate the stories of Wildlands’ work across North America.
Prior to joining Wildlands, Danielle worked at the National Geographic Society in Washington, D.C. where she managed outreach efforts, events and partnerships for the organization’s conservation programs and network of scientific grantees. Her commitment to large landscape conservation and connectivity stems from initiatives she supported during her time at National Geographic as well as time spent volunteering with Tompkins Conservation in the recently established Parque Nacional Patagonia in Chile.
Danielle earned a degree in media studies from the University of Virginia and is a graduate of the Emerging Wildlife Conservation Leaders program. As a new Utahn she’s excited to expand her outdoor pursuits to include skiing and rock climbing and to experience firsthand Utah’s incredible wild spaces.
