A Wolverine Evening in Seattle

July 19 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm PDT

Free
Design by Morgan Bak, based on photo by Steven Gnam

Please join Wildlands Network’s Pacific Wildway program and Patagonia Seattle for a journey into the wild world of wolverines: the science, the stories, and the conservation challenges surrounding these rare and fascinating carnivores who have recently returned to Washington state.

Dr. Robert Long, Senior Conservation Scientist at Woodland Park Zoo, and Paula MacKay, field biologist and writer, will share images and highlights from their wolverine research in the North Cascades. In addition, University of Washington ecologist Dr. Joshua Lawler will talk about the broader context of climate change in this region. Come take action to protect wolverines and other wildlife in the Pacific Northwest.
