July 23 @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm EDT

Free

RSVP Required

Please join us for cupcakes and a Congressional briefing on the Wildlife Corridors Conservation Act in conjunction with Center for Large Landscape Conservation, E.O. Wilson Biodiversity Foundation, Endangered Species Coalition, International Fund for Animal Welfare, National Wildlife Federation, National Parks Conservation Association, Defenders of Wildlife, and honorary hosts Senator Tom Udall (D-NM), Representative Don Beyer (D-VA), and Representative Vern Buchanan (R-FL).

In May 2019, the Intergovernmental Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IPBES) issued a landmark report warning that species and their habitats are declining at unprecedented rates.

Our special guest speakers will discuss how the Wildlife Corridors Conservation Act of 2019 can potentially solve the biodiversity crisis the United States is currently facing, followed by a bipartisan discussion with Senator Tom Udall (D-NM), Representative Don Beyer (D-VA), and Representative Vern Buchanan (R-FL).
