Join Us in Washington, D.C. to lobby for the Wildlife Corridors Conservation Act
October 16 - October 20$275
Join Great Old Broads for Wilderness, the Endangered Species Coalition, and Wildlands Network to lobby for the Wildlife Corridors Conservation Act, which would establish a national corridors system to ensure species are able to move between habitats.
You’ll learn to lobby, meet with lawmakers, and use your newfound powers of persuasion to advocate for safe passage for wildlife. We’ll also explore museums, galleries, and other attractions while there–it’s sure to be a Broadtastic experience!
The registration deadline for this lobbying adventure is September 1. Event cost is $275 for non-Great Old Broads members and $235 for members, plus the cost of your plane ticket to Washington, D.C.
We really hope you’ll join us to advocate for this important legislation. The conservation of landscape corridors and waterways, where native species and ecological processes can transition from one habitat to another, is critical to conserving biodiversity and ensuring resiliency for wildlife—especially in the face of climate change. Add your voice – and your presence – to our community of supporters!
If you are unable to join us, there are other ways to support the Wildlife Corridors Conservation Act. You can support Wildlands Network with a gift for our policy program, or you can contact your representatives and encourage them to support the bill when it’s introduced in Congress this fall.
